Who we are

What information we collect

This website does not currently use contact forms, so we don't automatically collect personal data through the site itself. Instead, if you reach out to us directly, we collect what you choose to share:

• By email or phone: your name, contact details, and anything you tell us about your family's circumstances or your interest in volunteering or partnering with us.
• General browsing: our hosting provider (Netlify) may automatically log basic technical data, such as IP address and browser type, for security and performance purposes, standard practice for any website.

How we use your information

We use the information you share with us to:

• Respond to your enquiry and provide the support, workshop information, or volunteering details you've requested
• Keep a record of our contact with families and volunteers so we can provide consistent, ongoing support
• Meet safeguarding responsibilities where our work involves children and families

We do not sell or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes. We only share information where necessary, for example with a DBS check provider for volunteer applications, or where we're legally required to.

Cookies

This site does not currently use tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies. If that changes in future, we'll update this policy and add a cookie consent option.

Children's information

Some of our programmes involve children and young people. Where we hold information about a child, it's provided by a parent or guardian, and we handle it with the same care and confidentiality as any family's information, in line with our safeguarding policy.

Data retention

We keep personal information only for as long as needed to provide our support and meet our legal and safeguarding obligations, after which it's securely deleted.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to ask what information we hold about you, request corrections, ask us to delete it, or object to how it's used. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@fusionfamiliesfoundation.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
