Fusion Families Foundation CIC exists because mixed-heritage families in Hampshire kept running into the same gap: services that weren't built with them in mind. We're closing it, one workshop and one conversation at a time.
For years, mixed-heritage families have faced challenges that rarely get acknowledged: children navigating questions of identity and belonging, parents unsure how to support dual or multi-cultural identity at home, and local services that don't quite know how to respond.
Fusion Families Foundation CIC was created in response to those gaps, not as a theoretical project, but as a practical answer to problems real families in Hampshire were already facing. We started with one simple belief: mixed-heritage families deserve understanding, representation, and support that reflects who they actually are.
"Our families deserve more than survival. They deserve systems built with them in mind."
Today that means peer support, community activities, and skills workshops across Hampshire. Read more about Lindsay's own story and where he's taking the Foundation next.
To empower mixed-heritage families through peer support, practical activities and skills-based programmes that build belonging, resilience and opportunity.
A society where mixed-heritage families are recognised, supported and celebrated, where services reflect the reality of mixed identities, not a footnote of it.
Respect for lived experience. Genuine inclusion. Practical impact over performative gestures. Collaboration. Integrity in everything we build.
A Hampshire-based community programme: peer support groups, family workshops, and events where mixed-heritage families are simply the norm in the room. Real, running, and open to families across the county.
A nationally recognised centre for mixed-heritage families, combining research, education and training for schools and healthcare providers, and a sustainable funding model through LINDSAY™, our beauty brand currently in development. Not there yet, but that's the direction.
